Winter 2025 in Cortina d’Ampezzo opens under the banner of excellence and hospitality, with a significant enhancement of the bus and ski bus services designed to make travel even smoother, more sustainable and more comfortable for those who choose the Queen of the Dolomites for their snow holidays.

Throughout the entire winter season, the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in collaboration with Dolomiti Bus, has strengthened urban routes and direct connections to the main ski areas. This strategic service is ideal for guests who want to enjoy the mountains without worries, leaving their car at the hotel and easily reaching the ski lifts, the town centre and the various areas of the resort.

This upgrade to public transport represents a key step in Cortina’s evolution towards an increasingly efficient mobility model that meets the needs of high-end international tourism, especially in view of the Olympic winter of Milano Cortina 2026.

Completing the picture of an extraordinary season, Cortina also welcomes new top-level openings in the restaurant and après-ski scene, confirming its vocation as a luxury alpine destination where sport, style and quality of life come together.

Ski bus in Cortina: new routes and enhanced connections

From 24 December, the service expands with five new ski bus lines, operating at a frequency of 15–30 minutes, designed to ensure fast and efficient travel even during peak periods. These are complemented by dedicated connections to Falzarego and Vodo, further extending access to the ski areas.

The main ski bus routes include connections between La Vera and Socrepes, Acquabona, Faloria and Freccia nel Cielo; links between the town centre and Socrepes, Faloria and Freccia nel Cielo; as well as the Cortina – Rio Gere – Passo Tre Croci route, ensuring continuous and direct access to the main lift systems of the Cortina basin.

The ski bus service is free of charge for all holders of a valid ski pass, a particularly appreciated benefit for those who want to maximise their time on the slopes and move around in a smart and elegant way, even during the busiest times. Thanks to an advanced vehicle geolocation system, passengers can check waiting times in real time, see incoming buses and identify the fastest route to their chosen ski area, simply by scanning the QR code at bus stops or using the official Dolomiti Bus app.
