Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026

Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites, will be one of the most prestigious venues of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, followed by the Winter Paralympic Games.

Set against breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage landscapes, Cortina will host some of the most spectacular Olympic disciplines, reaffirming its long-standing sporting tradition that began with the 1956 Winter Olympics.

The following Olympic events will take place in Cortina d’Ampezzo:

• Women’s Alpine Skiing – Tofane
  The iconic slopes of the Tofane mountains will host the women’s Alpine Skiing events, including Downhill, Super-G and Giant Slalom, in one of the most scenic settings of the Games.
• Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge – Cortina Sliding Centre
  The new Cortina Sliding Centre will be the stage for bobsleigh, skeleton and luge, delivering speed, precision and adrenaline at the highest level.
• Curling – Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium
  The Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium will welcome curling competitions, where strategy and technical skill take centre stage.

Throughout the Games, Largo Poste square in Cortina will also host the official Live Site, an open space animated by giant screens and live events where residents and visitors can follow the competitions and fully experience the Olympic atmosphere in the heart of Cortina.
