InCLOUsivity: A New Route for Inclusion in the Mountains at Cinque Torri

The Cinque Torri have become a symbol of a more open and accessible mountain environment thanks to inCLOUsivity, a new climbing route inaugurated on July 3 and 4, 2026, as part of the inCLOUsion project promoted by the organization Art4Life Movement.

The initiative aims to foster the inclusion of people with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities through authentic climbing and mountaineering experiences, demonstrating that the mountains can become a place of participation, sharing, and personal growth for everyone.

The route was opened by Andrea Lanfri, the first multi-amputee mountaineer to reach the summit of Everest independently, and Massimo Coda, an amputee climber known for numerous ascents in the Alps and Africa.

The opening was made possible thanks to the technical support of CAI Cortina, Gruppo Scoiattoli Cortina, and Cortina 360, whose collaboration helped turn an important vision of inclusion into a concrete project.

The route represents the first step in a broader program aimed at creating accessible climbing routes and single-pitch climbs that can be tackled by people with disabilities accompanied by specialized mountain guides.

The roots of the project lie in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where the first edition of Trek4Mandela International took place in 2024. From that experience emerged a clear vision: to make the mountains a place where inclusion is not just a value, but a real opportunity.

Following the opening of the Via Imbumba on Mont Blanc in 2025, inCLOUsivity marks another important milestone and the beginning of a journey destined to grow.
