A brand-new playground has opened in Socrepes, at the foot of the Tofane peaks: inflatable games, trampolines, a pool, the Tubby Track and a large green area designed for children’s fun and outdoor activities.
Summer 2026 brings an exciting new attraction for families visiting Cortina d’Ampezzo: the new playground in Socrepes area, located opposite Chalet Tofane at the departure station of the Socrepes gondola lift. The project represents an important expansion of the family-friendly facilities at the foot of the Tofane mountains, creating a space dedicated to play, relaxation and outdoor fun. A fully equipped area designed for children, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Dolomites of Cortina.
The new Socrepes Playground was created with the goal of making Cortina even more welcoming for families, offering a safe environment where children can play and enjoy the mountains in complete freedom. The playground features:

While the little ones are busy playing, parents can relax on the panoramic terrace of Chalet Tofane, stop for lunch, enjoy an afternoon snack or an aperitif, and spend a few peaceful hours in the mountains.
The location is particularly convenient thanks to the large free parking area directly in front of the chalet, allowing visitors to reach the playground easily without long walks.
The playground is open daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The Chalet Tofane bar and restaurant is open every day from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, while on Thursdays it operates with reduced hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The restaurant kitchen is open: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm for lunch and 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm for dinner.
