Summer 2026 brings exciting news for cycling enthusiasts in Cortina d’Ampezzo: new trails, a fully operational Bike Park, MTB and e-bike routes, and dedicated services for riders.
Summer 2026 is shaping up to be an exceptional season for cyclists in Cortina d’Ampezzo. From the new trails of the Cortina Bike Park Dolomiti to the extensive network of MTB and e-bike routes crossing the UNESCO Dolomites, the Queen of the Dolomites continues to establish itself as one of the most complete destinations for exploring the mountains on two wheels.
One of the biggest highlights of Summer 2026 is the return of the Cortina Bike Park Dolomiti to full operation, managed jointly by ISTA S.p.A. and Tofana S.r.l. All lifts will be open, the existing trails have been completely renewed, and two brand-new lines will further expand the park’s offering.
The Tofana Freccia nel Cielo sector will be open from June 13 to September 27, while the Cortina ISTA Ski Area sector will welcome riders from June 20 to September 13. Both areas will operate daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Among the season’s most anticipated additions are two new trails, one on each side of the Bike Park.
Hayden: Tofana’s New Flow Trail
Developed by Tofana Freccia nel Cielo in collaboration with Dolomiti Bike Company, Hayden is a brand-new flow trail connecting Col Drusciè and Colfiere. Stretching approximately 3.9 km with 300 meters of vertical drop, the trail has been designed to deliver a fun, scenic, and accessible riding experience.
Ercole: The New Flow Line on the ISTA Side
On the ISTA side, riders will discover Ercole, a new trail developed in collaboration with De Col Works. The route winds through alpine meadows and forests of larch and fir trees, combining scenic sections with smooth, playful riding. Thanks to its moderate gradient, it is also suitable for beginners.
With the addition of Hayden and Ercole, the Cortina Bike Park Dolomiti now offers approximately 36 kilometers of dedicated freeride trails, reinforcing its position among Italy’s largest and most complete bike parks.

Beyond the Bike Park, Cortina d’Ampezzo offers an extensive network of mountain bike and e-bike routes that allow visitors to explore the region from a variety of perspectives.
More experienced cyclists can take on legendary climbs such as Passo Giau, Passo Falzarego, and the Cinque Torri area, while those looking for a more relaxed experience can enjoy panoramic routes with the support of an e-bike.
Thanks to the lifts operating throughout the summer season, it is also possible to combine cycling with high-altitude adventures, easily reaching some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Dolomites.
Whether you are passionate about downhill, enduro, mountain biking, or e-biking, Summer 2026 offers endless opportunities to discover Cortina d’Ampezzo on two wheels.
