Delicious Slow Trekking

The Delicious Slow Trekking is an experience that combines the pleasure of walking in the mountains with the authentic flavors of the Dolomites. An event designed for those who wish to experience Cortina d’Ampezzo at a relaxed pace, immersing themselves in breathtaking landscapes and discovering traditional dishes in mountain huts and mountain huts.

The route follows the trail of the Delicious Trail Dolomiti, the well-known trail running race organized every year by the Cortina Delicious Consortium. In this version, however, the rhythm changes: the trekking becomes accessible and relaxed, ideal for couples, families, and groups of friends, transforming the experience into a slow journey through nature, taste, and conviviality.

This year’s edition will start on July 18 at 8:00 PM, departing from the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in front of the Cortina Alpine Guides office. From here, the adventure begins: a fascinating night walk through the Dolomites, accompanied by expert Mountain Guides. Along the route, mountain huts will exceptionally open their doors to welcome participants with snacks and tastings — even at unusual hours.

A unique experience that accompanies participants from night into the following day, crossing spectacular landscapes and enjoying convivial moments at altitude. The arrival is scheduled for July 19 in the late afternoon, after a full day immersed in the beauty of the Dolomites.

The event is organized by the Guide Alpine Cortina, in collaboration with local huts and alpine lodges, ready to welcome participants along this special trekking experience between nature and flavors.
