On Saturday, 12 December 2026, Cortina d’Ampezzo will welcome the VISA FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup, one of the most spectacular events on the international Alpine snowboarding calendar.

On the slopes of Faloria, the world’s best snowboarders will compete in the parallel giant slalom. Two athletes race simultaneously on side-by-side courses in a head-to-head contest where speed, precision and split-second reactions can decide the outcome.

Following the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Cortina once again takes centre stage in international sport. This stop on the 2026/27 Snowboard World Cup calendar renews the resort’s deep connection with winter sports and offers spectators the opportunity to experience an adrenaline-filled competition up close.

The event is organized by Snowboard Club Cortina and Fondazione Cortina, in collaboration with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) and the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI).
