GLOW: Ideas That Shine

TEDxCortina is the annual event that brings ideas, innovation, and inspiration to the heart of the Dolomites, transforming Cortina d’Ampezzo into a meeting place for visions, experiences, and perspectives from different worlds.

Organized under a TED license and made possible through the dedication of the non-profit TEDxCortina association, the event brings together scientists, entrepreneurs, creatives, researchers, philosophers, and professionals united by a desire to share ideas capable of driving change. Through the renowned TED format, which combines live talks and inspiring content, TEDxCortina encourages dialogue across disciplines in one of the world’s most extraordinary natural settings.

The 2026 edition will take place on August 21, 2026, at Rifugio Col Gallina, set against the stunning backdrop of the Cinque Torri. At over 2,000 meters (6,560 feet) above sea level, eleven speakers from a variety of fields and disciplines will share ideas, experiences, and visions designed to inspire the audience.

This year’s edition is particularly significant, as TEDxCortina celebrates its 10th anniversary with the theme GLOW – Ideas That Shine.

In an age defined by complexity, speed, and information overload, GLOW invites us to rediscover what truly deserves attention and recognition: places, communities, innovation, creativity, and choices capable of creating a positive impact. More than a simple spark, it is a light that helps guide us and imagine new possibilities for the future.
