La Lavaredo Ultra Trail is one of the world’s most iconic trail running events, held annually in late June in the Dolomites surrounding Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Auronzo di Cadore).

Since 2007, this event has attracted thousands of international athletes, offering a sporting experience surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and technical high mountain trails.

What is the Lavaredo Ultra Trail?

The Lavaredo Ultra Trail is a mountain running race that takes in the most spectacular peaks of the Dolomites, such as the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, Cristallo, Tofane, Sorapis and Croda da Lago.

The event is part of the UTMB® World Series circuit, confirming it as a benchmark stage for trail runners from around the world.
The 2026 edition includes five distances, designed for different levels of fitness:

Lavaredo 120K: the queen race, 120 km with 5,800 m of positive elevation gain, start June 27 at 11 p.m. from Corso Italia, Cortina. Maximum time: 30 hours.
Lavaredo 80K: 80 km with 4,600 m D+, start June 28 from Val Marzon (Auronzo di Cadore), arrival in Cortina. Maximum time: 22 hours.
Lavaredo 50K: 50 km with 2,600 m D+, start and finish in Cortina on June 27 at 8:00 am. Maximum time: 12 hours.
Lavaredo 20K: 20 km with 1,000 m D+, start June 26 at 5 p.m. from Corso Italia. Short but intense race with steep climbs and technical descents. Maximum time: 4 hours.
Lavaredo 10K by Night: a recent novelty, 10 km with 200 m D+, night race starting from Fiames, ideal for those who want to approach trail running in a picturesque setting.

For younger children, the Lavaredo Kids Race is planned, an opportunity to involve even the younger generation in a festive and sporting atmosphere.
