Cortina Future Talks

On Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 5:00 pm, Piazza Angelo Dibona will host Cortina Future Talks – Business at High Altitude, a public event promoted by Fondazione Cortina and the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

How can mountain regions continue to create employment opportunities, attract businesses and professionals, and ensure a better quality of life for local communities?

Cortina Future Talks invites residents, local businesses, institutions and stakeholders to discuss the economic future of mountain regions. The event will focus on business, skills, innovation, regional development and the lasting legacy of major events.

Following the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the challenge will be to transform the experience gained into new skills, connections, infrastructure and long-term opportunities, strengthening the role of mountain regions as places where people can live, work and build their future.

The event will be moderated by Bruno Vespa and will feature:

• Stefano Longo, President of Fondazione Cortina;
• Paola Severino, President of Fondazione Severino;
• Filippo Giordano, Professor of Business Administration at LUMSA University;
• Enrico Marchi, President of SAVE S.p.A.;
• Giordano Riello, President of Nplus.

Opening remarks will be delivered by the Mayor of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Gianluca Lorenzi, while the closing remarks will be given by the Prefect of Belluno, Antonello Roccoberton.
