Your journey day by day

Day 1 | Welcome to the Dolomites!

Arrival in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Snowmobile transfer to Malga Federa (1,816 m), nestled in the peaceful Dolomites at the foot of Croda da Lago mountain.
Dinner at the mountain hut, renowned for its authentic cuisine.
Overnight stay in a private room.

Day 2 | First peak, first views

Hearty breakfast at the malga with your alpine guide, followed by a briefing about the day’s itinerary and goals.
Start of the ski touring excursion towards Rocchetta di Prendera: a varied and scenic route that passes through the forest and opens into a clearing beneath the Becco di Mezzodì
Scenic descent back to Malga Federa.
Dinner and overnight stay at the malga, together with the alpine guide.

Day 3 | Across silent plateaus and incredible peaks

Hearty breakfast at the malga.
Start of the ski touring excursion towards Forcella Ambrizzola, crossing the Mondeval plateau and continuing towards Monte Corvo Alto.
Descent to Forcella Giau, overlooking the famous Giau Pass.
Arrival at one of the Cinque Torri mountain huts: Rifugio Averau, Rifugio Scoiattoli, Malga Giau, or Rifugio Fedare, depending on the route and conditions.
Dinner and overnight stay in the hut.

Day 4 | The Tofane and the heart of great alpine adventures

Hearty breakfast at the hut.
Descent to Bai de Dones, where you’ll meet your alpine guide and board the Skyline, the panoramic gondola lift connecting to the Tofane area.
Two options depending on snow conditions:
The first option includes taking the ski lifts up to Ra Valles, the highest point in the ski area, from where you’ll ski tour to the famous Bus de Tofana, crossing through a natural hole in the rock and descending from the other side.
Alternatively, you can take the lifts to Rifugio Pomedes and ski down to Rifugio Dibona, from where you can skin up to Rifugio Giussani and continue towards the Vallon de Tofana.
Lunch at Rifugio Dibona.
Transfer to Rifugio Pomedes for your final night in the Dolomites.
Typical dinner and overnight stay in the hut.

Day 5 | Time to head home!

Hearty breakfast at the hut.
Ski descent and departure.

These changes may involve additional costs for lift tickets or extra transfers. On request, a luggage transport service from hut to hut can be arranged. This service will be quoted separately.
