On Saturday 1 and Saturday 22 August 2026, Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo will take you to the highest summit in the Ampezzo Dolomites to witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles.
The ascent begins while the mountain is still wrapped in darkness. From the panoramic terrace at Cima Tofana, over 3,200 metres above sea level, you will watch the Dolomites slowly awaken: the silhouettes of the peaks emerge from the night, the sky lights up with the first colours of the day and the rising sun bathes the rocks in warm hues.
An unforgettable experience filled with silence, anticipation and wonder, set against one of the most spectacular views in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
From the terrace, a short hike leads to the summit cross of Cima Tofana at 3,244 metres—the highest point in Cortina and an extraordinary place from which to admire the sunrise.
After sunrise, the experience continues with a generous breakfast served at high altitude. You can also visit Per aspera ad astra, an exhibition dedicated to the Cortina Mountain Guides, located on the upper floor of the Cima Tofana bar.
The price is €60.00 per person and includes return transport to Cima Tofana and breakfast at high altitude. Details regarding the meeting point and time will be sent by email the day before the event.
