Local Flavours and Live Music in the Heart of Cortina
On Saturday, 5 and Sunday, 6 September 2026, Largo Poste comes alive for the Festa Campestre organized by the Sestiere di Cortina, a traditional celebration of local flavours, music and community spirit.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy traditional dishes and beer in a relaxed, festive atmosphere in the heart of the town. On Saturday evening, from 21:00, the celebrations continue with live music by Mamálover and their Dance 360° show.
The festival will be open on Saturday from 11:00 to midnight and on Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. It is a wonderful opportunity to gather in the town centre and experience one of Cortina’s much-loved local traditions.
Cortina d’Ampezzo’s six historic districts, known locally as sestieri, lie at the heart of the town’s traditions. The Ampezzo community has historically been divided into six districts: Alverà , Azon, Cadin, Chiave, Cortina and Zuel.
Originally established as territorial divisions of the Ampezzo valley, the sestieri still preserve a strong sense of belonging and organize numerous events and activities for residents and visitors throughout the year.
The summer country festivals are among the most eagerly awaited events of the season, offering an authentic introduction to local traditions, regional cuisine and the strong community spirit that defines Cortina d’Ampezzo.
