The trip takes about <strong>six and a half hours<\/strong>, but we suggest turning it into a contemporary &#8216;Grand Tour&#8217; through the flavors, traditions, and peculiarities of the Bel Paese. <\/p><p>You start from Rome, taking the A1 highway north towards Florence and continuing on the A13 towards Bologna. Then, you follow the A22 Brenner Motorway and exit at Bressanone. Traveling from Rome to Cortina by train takes about three and a half hours using high-speed trains, such as those offered by <strong>Trenitalia<\/strong>. The journey starts at Roma Termini station with a quick, direct connection to <strong>Venice<\/strong>, lasting around three and a half hours. At Venice Mestre, you change to a local train bound for Calalzo di Cadore. From there, you can take a shuttle or bus, such as the <em>Cortina Link<\/em> or <em>Dolomitibus<\/em>, to reach Cortina in about 30 minutes.    <\/p><p>During the high season, both in winter and summer, the \u2018<strong>Espresso Cadore<\/strong>\u2018 night train connecting Rome to the Dolomites has been reactivated. The buses provide Wi-Fi, comfortable reclining seats, and the journey lasts <strong>about eight hours<\/strong>, depending on traffic conditions.
