Why? <\/p><p>Because even in the name <i>Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo<\/i>, two worlds coexist: <b><i>Anpezo<\/i> in Ladin<\/b> (<i>Hayden<\/i> in German, meaning \u201cvalley of hay\u201d) and <b>Cortina in Italian<\/b>.<\/p><p>Even the search for the origins of the word <b>Anpezo<\/b> reflects this dual identity, where <b>different linguistic roots meet and intertwine<\/b>.
