But what a trip! <\/p><p>About <strong>250 kilometers total<\/strong>, part of which is via the A4 Serenissima highway, one of the first in Italy, which crosses the Po Valley from west to east and is part of the European road E70. It continues along the A27 in the direction of Belluno and then exits at Pian di Vedoia, from which it takes the Alemagna Highway 51 to Cortina d&#8217;Ampezzo. The route touches <strong>Vicenza<\/strong> and <strong>Padua<\/strong>, passes within a few kilometers of Venice, crosses the Prosecco Hills area of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and reaches the Dolomites. Beginning in 1964, however, the famous Trenino delle Dolomiti stopped its service and Cortina is no longer directly accessible by train. Therefore, one can get off at the <strong>Calalzo di Cadore<\/strong> train station, which is about <strong>35 kilometers away<\/strong> and takes <strong>45 minutes<\/strong> by wheel, depending on traffic conditions.  <\/p><p>Shuttle and bus services, such as Cortina Link in conjunction with Trenitalia and ATVO connections, depart from Calalzo, offering efficient travel to the Queen of the Dolomites. Travel time can vary widely, starting at <strong>about 5 hours<\/strong> from Verona to Cortina. In addition, if a direct connection is not used, waiting for changes can lengthen the travel experience. There are, however, some travel solutions without changes, offered for example by <strong>Flixbus<\/strong>. These are buses equipped with many comforts to make travel as smooth and pleasant as possible.   <\/p><p>Crossing the nearly <strong>300 kilometers<\/strong> that unite Verona and Cortina represent an opportunity to see a part of northern Italy and its unique landscapes.
